Below is an overview of some of the options available with DM Fitness & Performance. However, this is not exclusive, everything can be tailored to suit your individual circumstances. I can also cater for small groups (2/3) or larger sessions for the whole team. Please get in touch, let me know your goals and I’ll explain how I can help you. Strength and Conditioning


All S&C starts with a detailed analysis of the competition you are training for, and performance testing of you or your team to develop a training package that will help you to maximise your potential. This is recommended for anyone wanting to improve sports or race performance regardless of the standard they compete at.

Content – S&C encompasses the entire development of a sports person or athlete and what is needed to improve their physical performance. It always starts with a detailed analysis of the sport or competition and performance testing of the athlete to identify which physical attributes to develop and when. Aspects of this training include strength training, plyometrics, speed and agility, endurance and core stability. Perfect for anyone who wants to reach their potential in their chosen competition, protect themselves from injury or recover quicker more effectively from an existing injury. This can vary from professional sport to someone wanting to complete a park run for example. Danny is one of 2 UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coaches in York and has successfully trained high-level and novice athletes from a wide range of sports (including rugby, football, tennis and basketball) and endurance events (including runners, rowers and cyclists).

Personal Training


Starts with an initial consultation (either online or face to face) so that I know exactly what your goals are and can tailor your training and/or nutrition specifically for your needs. This is recommended for anyone who needs help to reach their fitness, health or appearance goals. This can vary from losing body fat, dropping a dress size, gaining muscle mass and improving general health and fitness.

Designed for people who cannot train with Danny in Yorkshire, or who are confident and competent in the gym environment and need direction in the form of a training programme and/or nutrition plan. All training is completely bespoke to the individual dependant on their goals. It can be done on varying scales from receiving the programme to go away with up to having the programme monitored, checking exercise competence, regular check-ins with Danny and as much assistance as you require.

 

1hr Standalone Training

Includes
Personalised training to meet your goals - Reduced rate if you bulk buy. Available in small groups (2/3), but need to have similar goals to maximise the session.

Online Coaching


Unlike practically all online training, this is completely tailored to your goals, resources and ability. Starts with an initial consultation so that I know exactly what your goals are and can tailor your training and/or nutrition specifically for your needs. This is recommended for people who cannot train with Danny in Yorkshire, or who are confident and competent in the gym environment and need direction in the form of a training programme and/or nutrition plan.

Nutrition


For me to help you make positive nutrition changes I need to see where you currently stand, so you will be required to complete a 7 day nutrition plan detailing what you eat and drink at certain times. I can use this, along with your goals to offer advice and guidance on how to make sustainable changes.

Danny is trained and very experienced giving dietary advice for weight management, health and performance, so he can help you reach your goals without sacrificing your health. The key is to avoid fad or crash diets and make sustainable positive changes that you can maintain for a long period of time, without robbing you of the things you enjoy in life.

 
 

Sports Massage


As well as visiting me for sports massage or it may be possible for me to come to your location (may incorporate extra travel costs). 

Pre-event – helps to increase circulation and mobility and help with mental preparation.

Post-event – speeds recovery by flushing toxins, relaxing the muscles and reducing swelling.

Injury treatment – improve the recovery rate.

Maintenance – relax the muscles, remove tension and reduce the risk of injury.
